Hi there!

Hope you all doing well and enjoying Hum Dono Hain Alag Alag! And yes, some of my wallpapers were missing from the 'Photo Gallery' section and so have been uploaded now! Do have a look at them and let me know your views on the same. So anyways guys, today I will be sharing with you some of my childhood memories and talk about the loony things I did back then. All of us have embarrassing moments and now I only miss and want to re-live them all over again...But I guess you are never too old to do silly things. And then again, it is hard to take time apart and turn into a child! So for the time being, lets have all of you get a brief glimpse into what my bachpan ke din were like!

Like all other children, I was a die hard Walt Disney fan. Especially of the pant-less Donald Duck and the evergreen Mickey Mouse! I was also very fond of Spider Man & HeeMan. It made me want to be a hero like them some day too and win girls over! Smile

In fact once as a child artiste, during a film shoot with Jackie Shroff, I wanted to pull off a stunt as bravely and confidently as Spider Man! So I climbed up a floor and a half high but luckily was got down safe. Else I would have broken my bones! Tongue

Something very adorable I would like to share, is about Valentine's Day...I would give out a dozen of roses to my class girls and fortunately have four to five of them reciprocated back! In a way it was like assuring I get some back so that I dont have to go through a heart break. Unfortunately I have over grown that innocent age and cant do the same any more Unhappy

I was not a very book person. I had a strong enmity against my school books but was the bestest of friends with comic books. Even autobiographies interested me.

Like most of you, I was a huge movie buff and loved spending time in front of the idiot box. From Amitabh Bacchan movies to Bond films, I have come a long way! Sean Connery is my best Bond! Mr.Bachchan is the ultimate personality for me. I would be completely awe strucken watching him. Till today, I get nostalgic on seeing his oldies like 'Deewar', 'Trishul', 'Sholay' etc.

Besides him, I love Dilip Kumarji for his intensity, Shahrukh Khan for his energy & spontaneity, Aamir Khan for his passion & perfection and Hrithik Roshan for his dedication.

From Hollywood my favorites have been Tom Cruise and Al Pacino. Tom Cruise pulls off any role impeccably with his acting and great looks. Al Pacino's GodFather is a legend! Robert Dinero has an intimidating attitude that gives him an edge.

Now as you all know now, I have Bollywood as well as Hollywood inspirations Wink

So these were a few fragments from my childhood. I hope you did not laugh at me much though and if you all did, hope you had a good time at it Smile

Love and care,
Yash Pandit

A big Hi to all you people out there!

Im here to discuss my passion for Bollywood & its stars who make us want to believe in mushy, cheesy love stories & happy endings! My favorites are Ranbir, Amir & Shahrukh. I love all three but with some additional preference towards Ranbir! Smile

I'm a big fan of Ranbir Kapoor & have a huge crush on him. From the first promo I saw of his debut 'Saawariya', I have been his fan. I saw the movie first day, first show. The much talked about & hyped towel scene of his in the movie was unfortunately edited & scrapped out. And like many of his other female fans, I too wanted a glimpse of it. LOL But as long as I saw the rest of the movie, I was happy.
His second movie 'Bachna Ae Haseeno' was superb too! It was quite a contrast in terms of his styling, acting, character sketch etc from his debut. I think any role suits him, serious/fun. It was a very entertaining movie & it just made me his bigger fan! Ranbir has a lot of potential. I have a desire to meet him & hope it comes true some day!
He is a fabulous dancer & a great looker. I think he can do better than his current flame, Deepika. Maybe...me?! Tongue

I love Aamir Khan & his acting. His last movie Ghajini was spectacular! Too much will also be too little to say for this movie. I have seen practically all his movies, from 'Qayamat Se Qayamet Tak'. He has grown & matured over the years, becoming better &  better at his profession. No wonder he is termed a perfectionist! The way he studies his work & takes care of the tiniest aspects for his roles is truly commendable & inspiring. 'Ghajini' for example, where he he got his hair chopped & worked hard to get that sculpted body, was really something! I even cried in this movie! Confused

No matter how much more loved Shahrukh Khan might appear, I'll always prefer Aamir over him. SRK is a legend in himself too, no doubt. But Amir is a bigger one. SRK is an inspiration too. Inheriting  no Bollywood background, struggling his way up from a regular Delhi boy to a global superstar is, impossibilty achieved! His perseverance, determination & never say never attitude is very motivating. Luck obviously did play a big role like i does in all our lives, but he also did whatever he could to bring out the best in him & prove his worth to the world. His fan base is world over now! Shahrukh Khan is like a God for them; Whatever he does is talked about. That is the kind of impact he has.

Im a very big movie buff & love our Bollywood movies. But as you all know, removing time in our profession to munch on popcorn & drool over Bollywood stars on the big screen is a little difficult. There are many movies i want & need to catch up on, 'Kaminey' & 'The Hangover' topping my list as of now. I have heard a lot of good reviews on both & hope to catch the two soon.
Also, Im waiting & looking forward on watching my Ranbir soon in his forthcoming films- 'Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahani' & 'Wake Up Sid!'. So if not other movies, Ill surely take time out & watch these two, just for Ranbir!
And what about you all? Who are your favorite heros? In reel life of course! Do tell me if there are any other movies that you really liked & recommend me to watch.

Love,
Harsha.

Hey guys,

Well guys, today I would like to share my little small journey with all you lovely people out there. It just takes me into the whole flashback thingi with all those memorable experiences and situations which has made me what I am!

I was born & brought up in Ajmer. I was a super naughty and mischievous kid. I would bully other kids & boss over them. The number of pranks I have played are too many & the count is still on... ask my co-stars! LOL I studied from class 8 onwards in Pune & did my engineering from there as well. In fact even my modeling phase started from Pune. I took part in an inter-college festival & was spotted as a potential while wlaking the ramp. Thus, Grasim happened for me!

I was groomed & trained for the runway. It proved lucky for me & I won three titles besides runner up- Most photogenic, Best smile & Best dressed male. It had never happened before in Grasim's history so it was quite an achievement. Smile Then I obviously came to the city of dreams - Mumbai.

I still pursued my engineering back in Pune & travelled back & forth daily to balance my studying & modeling. Those were crucial and struggling days where I would have to shell out at least 100Rs. a day for travelling etc. My pocket was not very sufficient then, & the train journeys were tiresome. Dead Engineering being a demanding line to study was becoming tougher, with the nonstop submissions, assignments, journal work, tests, finals etc. Somehow, I managed giving my all to both by juggling them & after modeling in Mumbai, I went to Turkey. I was based there for a year, doing international brands. After that, I came back to Mumbai where Balaji happened for me, starting with 'Kahin Kisi Roz'. Then followed 'Kahin To Hoga', 'Kehna Hai Kuch Mujhko', all thanks to Ekta!

A few more came up and at the moment; I'm having a wonderful time with 'Hum Dono Hai Alag Alag'. Talking about Hum Dono Hain Alag Alag, every single day on the sets is a delight & great fun. Something bizarre that I'm unconsciously doing is, is boosting the chewing gum sales! As funny & strange as it sounds, it is a fact! Every time I'm about to do a shot with any of my co-stars, the others pop a gum into their mouth before we start! I ignored it for a while, but later realized it is because they all think I'm very particular & picky when it comes to breath. They are under the impression that I need my co-star to have a fresh breath. Which obviously would be great but I'm not fussy about it! My ex co-star Kadambari, who is extremely professional & inspirational, would use mouthwash & Listerine & floss & all kinds of dental-care hygiene after every meal. Also, I don't eat onions, garlic etc on sets to avoid bad breath & any form of discomfort for my colleagues when shooting. So keeping these two things in mind, our entire cast & crew had the idea that I'm a fanatic for fresh breath! It's a funny misconception. But as long as I'm helping two industries, television & chewing gum simultaneously, I'm happy Wink

As far as the future goes, I am not a very calculative, sketched out person where I have my future figured out. But I am a dreamer & I dream large & big & King-size! Fingers crossed, I hope to progress into films some day. I am meeting people & doing my bit to get it sorted so hopefully, Bollywood will welcome me soon too.

Anyways guys, thank you so much for all the love and adulation you have given us. It feels really different and amazing blogging here to all you guys. It's my first ever blog and I am really looking to forward to all your comments and views, so keep posting!

Love,

Manish

About The Show

Hum Dono Hain Alag Alag is the story of two odd couples, how they come together, their conflicts and how they work around the strange situation they find themselves in. Very simply, it is a reflection of how hilarious life can be.
